<<concluded that 70 percent of all traders will lose and “will almost certainly lose everything they invest.” Only 11.5 percent of traders demonstrated the ability to do profitable short-term trading, according to Johnson's analysis.>>

I do not believe the results of SOES shops are representative of traders in general. Nor do I believe the study is valid, as I believe the sample group was small, namely a few SOES shops. I do believe that most day traders lose money, but most traders I know are not day traders, and many do very well.

Just getting caught up on the posts and I agree with you 100%. As they say "I've been there and done that" sometime or another in the last 30 years in this business. I try to learn every day, as the "market" doesn't care; we should continue to strive to enlighten each other, not be deterred from offering constructive advice and alert one another to pitfalls as we see them.

Best,
Joe
