This is a synopsis of positions from his campaign web site. I see nothing that would preclude investment in the company of which you speak:
Index of Issues My Stand on the Issues Back to Index
Abortion
All children should be welcomed into the world and protected by the law. As President, I would immediately repeal President Clinton's five executive orders that promote abortion. I support a human life bill that defines unborn children as persons under the 14th Amendment. I will appoint men and women to the Federal judiciary who share my view of unborn children as constitutionally protected and who will unhesitatingly vote to overturn Roe v. Wade. If nominated by my party, I will select my running mate from among a list of men and women fully committed to protection of the unborn. I will vigorously defend the pro-life plank in the Republican platform. Position Paper Back to Index
Agriculture
Since our nation's founding, the productivity of American farmers has set an example for the world. Their hard work and ingenuity provided our nation's first great economic success story, and continues to this day. I believe American farmers, to whom we owe so much, deserve every opportunity to succeed. If elected President, I will take steps to restore the independence of farmers and help even the smallest of family operated farms gain greater control over the future of their land and livestock. Position Paper Back to Index
Armed Forces
There are few matters of greater importance to this nation than taking care of those who have responded to aggression and preserved our peace and freedom. Our veterans deserve the first and greatest fruits of that freedom, especially the benefits and health care that were promised to them. Allowing our nation's commitment to falter and remain under-funded diminishes us all and, left unchecked, will weaken the republic. Back to Index
Assisted Suicide
Human life has dignity at every age; the taking of innocent human life is always wrong. I believe our nation at every level of government must reject any scheme to permit or promote assisted suicide and euthanasia. We must encourage new efforts to assist patients approaching the end of life to cope with their pain through medical, psychological, and social means. Back to Index
China
In the 1990s, the People's Republic of China emerged as the world's gravest threat to American values and national security. China brutalizes its own people, steals American nuclear secrets, threatens America, Taiwan and its own Asian neighbors with ballistic missiles, and represses free expression and religious liberty. Instead of embracing China as a "strategic partner," in the words of the Clinton Administration, we must renew our commitment to a peaceful, democratic Taiwan. We should refuse to renew China's Most Favored Nation status or grant it membership in the World Trade Organization until it changes its behavior. Back to Index
Drugs
We must firmly resist the legalization of narcotics, including marijuana and other "soft" drugs. I support incarceration of narcotics offenders, including chronic users. We must be alert to new forms and patterns of drug abuse, such as the disturbing plague of methamphetamines in the American heartland. We need to encourage the use of faith-based rehabilitation programs, and redouble our efforts to interdict the flow of drugs across our borders. In particular, I would suspend certification of Mexico as a cooperating partner in the fight against drugs until that country's authorities fulfill their commitment to cooperate with the U. S. Government in the capture and prosecution of trans-national drug dealers. Back to Index
Education
I favor parental choice in education. I support Educational Savings Accounts. I oppose national government testing and other centrally-driven curriculum revisions. Every American child should, in the words of Thomas Jefferson, "be taught to have knowing heads and loving hearts." Parents should make educational decisions, not bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. I support home schooling and applaud its increasingly recognized academic excellence. The right of parents to pursue this choice must be recognized and vigilantly protected. Back to Index
Faith-Based Solutions
I strongly support the heroic work being done by churches, non-profits, and people of faith and compassion to reach out to drug addicts, prisoners, and women facing problem pregnancies. For example, the Step Academy in Richmond, Virginia helps inner city men and women through a two-year job and skills training program. The Jobs Partnership in Raleigh, North Carolina similarly provides a dynamic private sector alternative to bureaucratic government management. As President, I will encourage and expand these efforts. Back to Index
Gambling
I believe gambling destroys marriages and families, discourages hard, honest work and increases crime. This does not profit America. As President, I will work to curb the growth and spread of legalized gambling. Back to Index
Judicial Activism
In recent decades, judges have increasingly legislated from the bench their personal notions of the good society, rather than apply the laws and the Constitution as written. This pattern of judicial activism, which has transformed the federal courts into engines of social liberalism, must change. As President, I will appoint judges who will read and honor the plain words of the Constitution and the statutes. Where necessary, I will support legislation to restrain the judicial branch from exceeding its constitutional authority. Back to Index
Marriage and Family
Marriage is the cornerstone of all successful civilizations. I oppose changing the definition of marriage to permit same-sex marriages, or the granting of special rights on the basis of sexual preference. I will strongly defend the rights of organizations like the Boy Scouts and Salvation Army to participate fully in American culture, free from legal coercion to hire personnel who would undermine the beliefs of such organizations. Back to Index
National Defense
I support immediate deployment of an anti-ballistic missile system to defend the American people, as well as theater missile defense to protect our troops and our allies overseas. We must take immediate steps to upgrade a U.S. military that has been hollowed out by Clinton-era cutbacks. Back to Index
Pornography
Pornography is an attack on women and children that leads to harmful and violent behavior. Our nation made great progress in fighting the illegal obscenity business under the Reagan-Bush Administration; but under the Clinton Administration, not one new obscenity case has been opened. As a result, the pornography industry is back, especially on the Internet, and the worldwide sexual slave trade operates with increasing boldness. I would reverse this trend, reopening the obscenity prosecution operation at DOJ and by creating new sections within federal law enforcement agencies whose major task is to prosecute adult obscenity and the international sexual slave trade. Back to Index
Privacy
The current administration has promoted numerous measures that intrude upon the privacy of ordinary Americans. Few if any Americans want their health records on the Internet or their bank records reviewed by bureaucrats or sold to businesses. I oppose government intrusions that assault the Constitution and violate individual rights. Back to Index
Property Rights
I believe, as did the founders of our nation, that the right to property is involved in every other right. Without printing presses, free speech means little; without a church building or even a home to meet in, freedom of religious worship is undermined. During the Clinton Administration, private property has been under assault and property rights have been whittled away. The Secretary of Interior only a few years ago went so far as to say that property rights as we know them are dead. I would reverse this trend by assuring that the constitutional limitations on federal power, the Tenth Amendment and the "takings clause" of the Fifth Amendment are being observed and by making sure that regulations do not cost more than the benefits they achieve. Reliable Standards of Right & Wrong
I'd like to see a country where reliable standards of right and wrong mattered again; where character counted; where virtue wasn't seen as something hopelessly old-fashioned but as something to treasure and pass on from one generation to another. I'd like a country where women who choose to be mothers and wives weren't somehow looked down upon or seen as behind the times. I'd like a country where criminals are behind bars again, instead of the average American living behind barred windows. Those are the values I will fight for as President. I will talk openly about virtue and truth and right and wrong. As President, I will end once and for all the use of taxpayer funds to promote the National Endowment for the Arts and other programs that subsidize amoral and degrading activities. Back to Index
Religious Liberty
Religious freedom is fundamental; it merits the law's highest protection. I support legislation to ensure that the courts apply strict scrutiny in religious freedom cases, that protects religious expression, and that restores the freedom of states to acknowledge God and allow for the posting of the Ten Commandments in public facilities. Back to Index
Second Amendment
I fully support the right of the people to keep and bear arms which is guaranteed by the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Like many law abiding gun owners, I'm alarmed by the growing encroachment of government on this individual freedom. We must remember that gun ownership is a right guaranteed by the Constitution. As president I will protect and defend this right. Position Paper Back to Index
Taxes
The United States should move to a 16% flat rate tax that would substantially cut taxes for America's families. I strongly support the elimination of the marriage penalty and of inheritance taxes. Back to Index
Veterans
There are few matters of greater importance to this nation than taking care of those who have responded to aggression and preserved our peace and freedom. Our veterans deserve the first and greatest fruits of that freedom, especially the benefits and health care that were promised to them. Allowing our nation's commitment to falter and remain under-funded diminishes us all and, left unchecked, will weaken the republic. Back to Index
