Tech2000,

I have a question for you. According to Microsoft announcements so far, when will Windows 2000 be released ? Is Windows 2000 a combination of Windows NT and Windows 98 ?

Thanks.

In business, it is everyone for himself. Intel and Microsoft are joined at the hip and it does no good for either of them to try to knife the other. Each must protect its future as best it can. Microsoft is into set top boxes and webtv (which don't usually use Intel chips), and Intel is encouraging Linux and Be for those who don't want to use Windows.
