A@P, here is the info I was looking for. " Police raid raises link to Internet porn firm The Province Barbara McLintock, Don Hauka, Helen Plischke, Chris Montgomery, Frank Luba, Tony Wanless and Fabian Dawson, staff reporters A police raid on Starnet Communications International has heightened speculation about a link between the Glen Clark affair and the high-flying Internet gambling and porn operation. Investigators from the Co-ordinated Law Enforcement Unit executed search warrants at Starnet offices on Carrall Street in Vancouver Friday after what they called an 18-month investigation of "illegal gaming and the distribution of prohibited pornographic materials over the Internet." Neither police nor the attorney-general's ministry would comment further on the raid. The raid was executed as the search warrants used for a March 2 raid of the premier's home were being released by the courts. CLEU investigators said they have determined that millions flowed through Starnet-controlled bank accounts each month from its Internet-based gaming system. The connection between Starnet and the North Burnaby Inn, which had applied for a casino licence and was central to the raid on the premier's house, lies in the list of shareholders of both operations -- who have also been linked by police to the Hells Angels. One early shareholder in Starnet was Steve Ng, a co-applicant with Dimitrios Pilarinos for the licence. Other shareholders included Tony Ricci, manager of Ng's Marble Arch Hotel. The business is linked to what police say is the biggest investigation into drug dealing and organized crime in B.C. history." This is all about former shareholders and relationships to them. Given that, Starnet will do fine, halted or not. Brian
