Where do signature frequencies get assigned? Arbitrarily? Or are there some guidelines that have specific rationales behind them. Is it "pick a freq, any freq?" Or, is it "This is your freq, and this is the reason why!" It becomes obvious to me that there is no analogous model, nor is there any center of excellence, to be guided by when establishing architectural rules such as traffic management, spectrum assignments, and the other fundamental constructs which define interactive communications protocols, for this technology. The folks at SR sure have their work cut out for themselves. They best keep it simple in the early going, and attract niche route opportunities outside of the PSTN sphere, at first. Like I stated earlier, on Internet Backbone routes, say, or high density carrier corridors. Stay away from nodal traffic cop activities, though. BTW, I am encouraged that you saw fit to resume your lecture hall activities. What brought this on at this time? Are you beginning to see more promise now than you did when you ceased your original run of tutorial posts? Curious.
