Charles, this has been discussed many times before but perhaps you weren't reading this thread at the time so I will repeat it. The Xeon is not intended for single processor applications so don't expect to see a price justification looking at normal benchmarks. The Xeon is intended for SMP applications where the added full speed L2 is of major benefit for transaction processing. You are wasting your time referring to Xeon benchmarks that don't refer to this kind of an environment. You need to look at TPC scores.
