Jock, I guess having FPGA really CAN impact LSI's bottom line, when you look at it from that point of view.

The article E shared reveals this is a 4.5 billion dollar biz in 2002, from 2.6 this year. But will LSI be able to commando a large % of that 4.5 billion? I hope so, but I wish I knew (or knew how to find out) what all the different factors are that will determine LSI's success in that market. It's one thing to have a huge market to sell in, it's another to be able to successfully create, manufacture and sell to it. We'll have to see if LSI has the right stuff.

BTW, anyone know where Shane Forbes has gone off to? Has he been banished forever? I know he pissed off a lot of people on this board but come on, you have to admit it's sorta fun hearing him gloat and sing...

"LA LA LA

HA HA HA"

Let's unlock the door and let him back in...

Ron

We are pretty content with this state of affairs down here in mosquito alley too. Just so long as no vocally talented obese ladies show up at this soiree any time soon we'll be more than fine. Still waiting for the address of Addi's new beach house.
