How do you feel about this? I think Belluzzo is awful. During the time he has headed SGI, he has paired back the company so that now they are only a server vendor (one of a huge number of unix server vendors out there, although they do have the Cray technology). SGI was always a bit of a mess but they had potential in a bunch of different areas.. vrml technology and graphics of course... and Bulluzzo just threw it away. Recently they gave away a lot of expensive technology they developed to invidia for almost nothing, some people I know said it was like the management just gave up.
