JHY,

I hate to play the role of cheerleader, but I will do so just the same ... because I feel like it.

LRCX has done such an incredible job. This could be one of the great turnarounds in industry history ... and you can feel free to toss in a bunch of other industries ...

The effect that Bagley, Newberry, Johnson, et. al. (and I stress the Latin trailer ... from Campbell in Etch to Bela in IR to some guy I don't know bagging a shiny new Exelan ...) has been absolutely incredible.

Who would have thought that they could have come so far, so fast? And, I do not mean only the stock price (though, it does not hurt).

I am convinced that people do not understand the ramifications of all the changes. This is a small and agile AMAT with great growth opportunities.

I hesitate to use AMAT in my description, because I believe that we are blurring the efforts of some critical management personnel. My guess is that the what is going on at AMAT (and it is impressive in its own right) is, in no small part, a function of the focus and the impact Bagley, Newberry, Johnson, et. al. -- before they left the Mother Ship.

Now, these ex-AMATers have built a new platform at LRCX. I am happy to be a stakeholder. I am also happy that I was pig-headed enough to believe in them when the environment was 'less than ideal' ...

If I could have one LRCX every three or four years as an investor, I might be refered to as an Oracle in twenty years!

N.B., If you work at LRCX and are reading this, get back to work! Make some money and add value! Seriously, I send out a heartfelt thanks.
