And, the evidence must be relevant to a material issue, not to trivia.

If someone has lied about their educational experience, how can you trust anything he has to say? This is not trivia. This speaks to the man's credibility. He runs the company. He has not taken public responsibility for any such possible public misstatement. Nor has he offered any explanation. Call Louise. After talking to her, I think a public response from him is required.

We obviously must have different standards of personal conduct in this life. I rejoice that I don't share your lack of concern about this matter. I am hardly a Ken Starr here. No surrepetitious tapes, no machinations involved. Just simple facts. He made the statement and the school has no record. No Ken Starr needed here. Only a moral compass and some common sense.

If you do not alibi for him then so much the better to hear that. Your obscure FERPA argument and attempt to dismiss my original concern certainly confused me on that score. Your denial that there was any substance to the claims also had me a little confused as to your motives. Though I have to admit that your saying it is a trivial issue has me concerned that you are not being truly forthright about your motives. Thanks at least for saying you are not alibiing for him. . . . I think.
