I understood SFTBF needed a consensus of securities firms to bring in Nasdaq-Japan but the way this article is written it looks more like as part of the 'rule-making process' SFTBF just needs to get the views of market participants. If so. this is a solid sign, as previously it had been mentioned that SFTBF needed 5 Japanese securities houses to launch N-J. If the securities houses don't participate in the working group, though, will this mean the kiss of death?
