The Ebay arrogance must be CONTAGIOUS!!! It is extremely foolish for ANY company or stockholder to think a single player can hold a monopoly forever. Hey, I'm glad you are not MY financial planner! Ebay's "valuation" is beyond astronomical, any more slip-ups (can you say SYSTEM OUTAGE?) and these "upstarts" will be all over them. You may recall that the idea of a PC on the desktop of a home user was a RIDICULOUS UPSTART IDEA! We are talking about the internet, remember? There is nothing sacred or secure about Ebay's claim to fame.....it's momentum, just like the stock price. There is enough wealth to be spread around. Ebay is a setting sun, not a rising star!
