Don't you love those "before" and "after" ads? The ones where the "before" guy is not only bald but wearing a dirty t-shirt and an expression of downtrodden misery, and the "after" guy has a snappy suit, a big smile, and a busty blonde firmly attached on either side?

Real subtle stuff. I'm losing hair fast, and I can't imagine trying to change that. Who cares?

I'm a realist, and I know very well that if I want busty blondes attached on either side I need more bills in my wallet, not more hairs on my head.

May I add MHO to YHO?
I think bald men are very sexy. When I was little, I thought Yul Brynner was funny looking, but now I can see he radiates a very powerful sexuality in his old movies. A couple of years before he died, we saw him on stage in The King and I, and even then, he had that same magnetism. Couldn't sing and was very hoarse, but was great just the same.
I do think that if we are going to be so wonderfully understanding and appreciative of their bald pates and tonsures, the men can assure us a little tummy and widening hips aren't so bad either, though.

That look is good for some, not as much so for others. I agree that it should not be so big a deal, but there is a fear of aging, and losing "prowess", involved, I suppose.....
