It ran up after the blowout, then dropped back well below the previous high of 156 and only recently did it break out of that area. Some well-heeled folks obviously knew how well that quarter had gone. What if the same ones know the current quarter is going to rock? The stock would start moving up over the next two months, IMO.<< Looks like I may have been right as well (two months)! Moves are taking place during the quarter. With as many analysts as there are out there, as much scrutiny as there is, it seems to me that some folks truly know a narrow range where the numbers will come in by the end of the quarter based on their own daily data flow. Buying right now, to me, reflects this knowledge. The quarter will be big! >>I have to say it feels kind of strange for MSFT to move up like this and me not holding some call options.<< I'm feeling your pain! We should all be so lucky as to be out after making a killing!
