GV - Re: "it appears to me that he is setting the table for a downgrade of Intel some time in the next 3 or 4 months."

Great- that "potential" downgrade corresponds to your one year anniversary on this board, telling us how BRILLIANT Kurlak WAS when he DOWNGRADED Intel this time last year - when Intel was poised to MORE THAN DOUBLE its stock price - which it has done since that time.

Now if Intel goes down, you can PRAISE EDELSTONE as being so clairvoyant - something I seem to think you NEGLECTED to do when Edelstone CORRECTLY predicted Intel's stunning price increases.

In fact - correct me if I'm wrong - did you take the time to PARAPHRASE all of Edlestone's UPGRADES of Intel over the past year and a half? And suddenly here you are PARAPHRASING your interpretation of an Edelstone DOWNGRADE.

Hope you enjoy the DOWNGRADES - you are always so superb in analyzing Intel's business and its stock performance.

Paul

Of course, when the market price (84 1/2) is above your target price for the stock it is equivalent to saying that you expect the price to fall. The rumor on CNBC is that Intel will preannounce in early September that they expect higher than expected earnings in 3Q.
