Yeah, some more money down the drain for pie-in-the-sky schemes. So, what's new?! And after spending billions, nobody will ever know if the darned thing ever works because everything will be cloaked in complete secrecy in the interests of "national security" or some such crap.

Looks like the Indian sub-continent is all set to be mired deeper in poverty, illiteracy, and ill-health than sub-Saharan Africa in the coming decades.

Indian scientists say that this KALI is better than LASER

Yeah, right! And the bureaucratic bungholes who call themselves Indian scientists have also said the following :

Indian "herbal-petrol" is better than American aviation fuel.
Indian Light Combat Aircraft is better than USA's F-16.
Indian Institute of Science's superconductors are better than NASA's superconductors.
Indian CDAC's "super-flop"(tm) machine is 1000 times better than Cray Supercomputer.
Bangalore's Krishnarajapuram bridge is better than San Francisco's Bay Bridge.

...

and on and on and on.

I wonder how many bursts of 4giawatts they can shoot every minute? If unlimited, then of course they can blanket the space and knock anything down.

Indian Scientists are as good if not better than the best in the world. We already have hundreds of thousands of computer scientists here and more being given H-1 visas to help with the latest technology.
