SMS -

Add Bell Atlantic Mobile to the list. I've been using SMS on Bell Atlantic and SprintPCS for over a year now. I get real time quotes sent to me hourly, sports scores (for my favorite teams), weather reports, and a setup w/ my Palm Pilot linking with Yahoo Calender allows my meeting alerts to be sent to me via SMS as well. CDMA rules! What was with all these posts about no SMS with CDMA!!!

Airtouch, GTE, Sprint, Primeco, etc. all offer text messaging service on their CDMA phones

No - they offer text messaging service to their 'phones.
These services allow someone to send an alphanumeric page to a 'phone.

This is another flavor of one way SMS
