rudedog, It's amazing the lack of credit CPQ is getting. CPQ management has to be pounding their heads against the wall as they say something like following, "But wait we have done this for years already, why does DELL get all the attention?" How automated is CPQ and IBM online service? Do they have it set-up to to report back to the supplier in the event of hardware failure to drop ship a replacement part? Do they do automated software patch or problem solving? Have they stated a goal of 50% service online at some point?

Thanks,

greg

Rudedog,
Hi!!!

RE: I'm a little surprised by this statement. What DELL is doing is bringing its service up to the standard set by those other companies, who have had this capability for years.

Please explain..not what I've researched..

Best, Kemble
