synchro I doubt your too demanding. We can change on-line brokers and many of us do if we don't like the screens and service. for example I use ameritrade for my trades but keep an account with waterhouse for money market etd. money rate is higher. Why get a low transaction rate and then when you go to cash get the money taken back from you in the form of a low interest... I haven't compared the rates in the last year but it was something like a full % difference.

When did you get your CD? I'm anxious to try this thing out, but haven't gotten the CD yet. Why can't they have automatic update, say every minute or so? The press release stated real-time streaming quotes and level II will be coming in the 4th Q. Order status screen doesn't give you the price at which an order is filled. Hmmm...not good. Did you send an e-mail pointing out these issues. In general, SCH listens to its clients. I've suggested several items for their web site and they were implemented. Velocity's feature set addresses several of my major remaining beefs, but I'm sure I too will find many issues (the performance issues are probably Java related). Lets face it, this is a 1.0 product, and it will have to become polished. The BIG issue, is it an improvement over the web site????
