I think the Y2K problem is overblown so is the 9-9-99. Not very many people talked about 8-8-88 then. But now people are talking about 9-9-99.

IMO 9-9-99 will come and go without anybody even noticing it. Y2K, we have to be gently cautious. I am sure "Planes would not suddenly fall to the ground come midnight of Dec. 31 - Jan. 1
