I agree with you. I also have a strange feeling about this article. "But Excite@Home will go away; AT&T will open its system; and I'm betting AOL will be one of the big winners. ". Just add something like "Everybody with two-digit IQ must see it" or "Everybody who disagrees is an idiot" and you will get a typical Yahoo chat room post.
- It is a good idea to consult with the devil advocate from time to time. It is nice to feel when he loses argument.
- Read the titles on street.com. They even do not try to mask the presence of paid agenda. In recent two days: "Navigating the Twists and Turns of the AT&T-Excite@Home Link"; "Analyst and Investor Enthusiasm Wanes Over Excite@Home"; "AOL Picks Generals to Lead Its Brand Fleet". In other words, E@H is something bad, dying, annoying. AOL is big, prosper, bright.
- By the way, who the hell are those guys? Why their opinion is worth more than your's or Eric's?
