This is the real power of eBay. As much as many sellers hate eBay, they have ALWAYS returned after trying other sites, INCLUDING Yahoo and Amazon. I have tried the vast majority of the rest, and the ONLY auction site worth my time is Amazon. And even Amazon is finding it EXTREMELY hard to gain any ground on eBay. Even with Amazon running 10 cent auctions, they are still stuck around 100,000 auctions. Yahoo is above 600,000 auctions, but I have never been able to sell a thing on Yahoo auctions and still don't know any serious sellers who have had success on Yahoo auctions. eBay is the one, for better or worse....

High five to you, Hubert! Acknowledging even the slightest "error" of judgment is just about unprecedented on SI -- you will at once go into the SI Hall of Fame. I just bought a slew of stuff on eBay, after finding my categories just about completely dry on Amazon. There's not a chance in hell of anybody catching up to eBay with the holiday buying season rushing at us. Best of luck with your auctions and investments.
