Star Office - downloaded it last night and played with it...and I like it!! It kinda reminds me of a marriage between XEmacs & MS Office. XEmacs because it tries to be an all-in-one desktop manager and MS Office for look and feel.

Here's my initial scoop...

Good Points:
* Apps are similar in look & feel to MS office (good for user migration)
* Good desktop controls - intuitive navigation/workspace.
* Good interop with MS Apps - MS App friendly
* All apps appear to be capable of import/export MS App file format
* Nice Presentation tool

Bad Points:
* Completely takes over the desktop; install it's own Taskbar and overlays Windows 'Start' button - this is a little overdone

If I didn't already have Office I would use it.

Cheers
James
