Morning, if a campaign was launched focusing on getting "joe 6 pack to hold a small percentage of his investment portfolio in physical gold, what would be the number of dollars we're talking about,using a figure of 5%? What is the average size of "his or her investment portfolio in dollars? thanks-mike

I have supported Doug Jackson since the early days of e-gold.com and he was most generous to support my site with banners in the past. I am probably one of the top originators with almost 100 accounts. There has to be a critical mass for e-gold, and I think he needs more accounts, more funded accounts, and more vendors that will accept it. The price of gold hasn't made his job any easier. I just checked the stats, 6843 accounts, 3449oz AU, 5786oz AG e-gold.com
