Mike,

Dell has blazed a path in it's niche, for sure. I'm commenting on what I see as incorrect information being posted, and I put my two cents in when it gets 'real deep'... Don't mean to be nasty to you, but sometimes I can't help it when I keep reading post after post about these so called 'technological advancements'. The way some post, you would think these are greater than the building of the pyramids. Give me a break...

Regards,
John

mike:<john's condescension>mike, john only speaks up when it gets real deep--when it's piled too high--get it? I don't think you are aware of his background either, or of his humility. Most who know what he knows about operating systems, use it against others, like yourself...and you surely must agree that on this board, it is difficult sometimes to fit in even technical corrections, without being accused of being against dell altogether...speaking for myself, i would go nuts, were it not for the participation of john and rudedog, and tiger paw...the balance of skills and interests here is absolutely critical..and btw, i have never seen john nor rudedog ever say that a company like dell must be the first to invent features in the hardware/software space, to continue to gain market share at a very high rate...please, do not put any energy into disuading the few persons here, who really have the slightest idea of what they are talking about, technically (hardware/software)...in fact at this time for dell, we are very lucky to have the skills of john on board, because he was at ibm doing os work, which can help us understand the relative importance of what dell has announced...
...(btw is condescension, a valid word?)
