actually, i am not trashing the company at all. you ask "if your R/D developed additional MRI technology so soon after the 1998 RSNA, i ask you or anyone else. IS it better , wiser, considered better management to wait just a few months..." malcolm, we waited 3 years. It was Fonar, not I, who claimed to be ready in 1998, as well as 1997, and now they say they are ready for 1999. Why do you and frank keep believing them, and taking them at their word?

also, it is INSANE to keep holding a product for additional technologic advancement. Does Microsoft hold off on a windows program until it is perfect? does Intel hold off release of the next generation microprocessor until it is ready? Does any company professing to sell a technological product make empty promises year after year because they want to make sure the new advances have been incorporated? The way every other company does it is by offering UPGRADES.

So now i have to own shares to comment on a company? Poor logic on that one. You can endlessly hype the stock with no facts or numbers to back you up, but i can't put a damper on the ridiculous enthusiasm with experience. What, should i buy another 10,000 shares of Fonar just so i can lose another 20,000.00?

It perplexes me why you continue to praise this stock. It has not lived up to anyones expectations, not even Frank's! You spend your time, day after day, week after week, praising this company. I am sure everyone can see through that one, and i will be here to expose it too. SO continue with your paranoia, and i will with mine. You say you are open about your reason for posting???? yeah, right. I am supposed to believe what you say, but you won't believe what i say. hmmmmm.

And you still found space for wild speculation about a rapid rise in the stock price. I think i saw that happen once, in 3 years, but of course i held the stock instead of bailing out.

i do agree with those who agressively trade this stock, rather than buy and hold. i think if you have the time and ability to day trade, you could make some money on fonar. I don't think it is a wise pick for a buy and holder, like i am.
'
I hope everyone will admit that i have never spoken out against the company , the CEO , or anyone on this or any other threads, in a personal, or abusive manner. the worst i think could be said is the use of heavy sarcasm. I express my opinions, as do you, and agree or disagree with yours, as you do mine, on a professional level. But it is time to go to the gym, and sign off my work station. Man was it a slow day today, which is why i could post so much. dr. bo

Malcolm,
Well stated. Although I am a buy and holder which suits my trading philosophy, I hold no grief for people who day trade, month trade or trade portions of their holding.
There is room in the market for Bulls and Bears, although I doubt the sanity of a shareholder who is long and trashes the company. Then there are what I call the Vultures who circle around with no position, waiting to spot a dead body. They make no committment and live off the labors of others,. sort of like people who go to NASCAR races...not for the sport or the thrill of watching skilled drivers.....but to see car wrecks, fires and dead bodies.
If you find yourself in a stock that is not acting according to your timetable or expectations...sell the sucker and move on. There are over ten thousand stocks to pick from. To revisit the scene of a stock you lost money is negative and bad trading strategy...when you make a mistake, dump it and don't spend time trying to find out why you were wrong or trying to convince others who are still invested that THEY are Wrong....good luck to all........nysebob
