Hello !!!??? Anybody Home. Diwali was first then Lahore diplomacy and then Kargil. The lahore initiative was left in the way side because of Kargil. Get your facts right.

[Pakistan's gamble]

> Of course it worked.

You're a funny guy. Did you ever think chosing stand up comedy as a profession. Strangely, your facts and those of the paki media are the same, as regurgitated from the paki govt.

>Which is why the Americans
>intervened and put an end to the conflict. As to whether

American intervention yes. Clinton warned pakistan of india widening the conflict. In fact america saved the paki ass.
Shariff, expected china and the US to stand by it, and blame india, and make kashmir the issue. The result, china declines. Sharif's 5 day trip to china ends up with a second day retreat to paki land. A begging for a meeting with billy the kid, on the 4th of july (kabobs from a takeout in arlington, VA).
Yeah right! Of Course it worked!

G-8, security council,..... blah blah blah ... make political statements, after watering it down. The real statements you can hear from rubin, curry,.... There you can hear them say who was involved.
