Wow... had two kids going to birthday parties today, one a surprise that required some unplanned gift-finding excursions. Parties in opposite directions from home, no less. Thus, missed the decline at the close.

Doesn't surprise me.... sucker moves like it was a feather at 24K feet.

I looked at the options (calls) again the other day when I thought about the roto-rooter presentation and concluded that I don't have enough shares. EXPENSIVE. I elected to pass, and was cussing like heck at 35.

Now that I can't afford QLTI anymore PCYC is the next best thing.

QLTI was dead for a long time but when you could see it cropping up in some mutual fund portfolios you could see that it was gonna move fast to response to the kind of volume suction these guys exert (it was at around 40 at the time). Looking for the same action in PCYC..If it happens, it could make for some real remorse in writing covered calls.

<Pretty hefty volatilities - for someone who is less optimistic than I, selling covered calls might be a good strategy.>

Yea, my partner found it on the "sell list" Thursday afternoon... that's a computer generated list of "high options relative to the movement in the underlying"...

If nothing else, it tells me not to buy 'em... stock is better purchase IMO.
