And I don't think you have to worry about earnings even though its kind of funny how the latest analyst upgrade included an increase in eps estimates when we know that there will be a lot of downward pressure on intc's asps with the intro of the Athlon and economists projecting the smallest xmas pc growth in years and with the new xeon server going up against Sunw....now you know Mc Nealy,the ceo of Sunw, aint taking this sitting down!! You know he's cutthroat, taking on mr. softee and all with java. Besides everyone is saying that the new server is good only for mid size businesses, the portion of the corporate side that is growing the slowest. Bit I still think intc can pull it off....don't you? BTW have you noticed how quiet Sanders has been? Given his penchant for grand statements, you would think he would be all over the place shouting about Athlon, THE FASTEST CHIP IN ALL THE LAND!! and the other launches like the k6-500MHz which matches the PIII now, doesn't it? But no, not only is Sanders quiet but AMD is real quiet....looks like they may be going about getting things done....maybe working on getting the Athlon up to 1 G. Naw, they are just screwing off...probably having one big party....after all they are LOSERS, right? And M. Dell knows what he's doing....he never makes any mistakes....he's a genius. If Dell says its good, it must be good, right? So why are you all so edgy? Day after day you pound into this thread that intc is the best and AMD doesn't stand a chance. You could be out spending the profits you made off of intc. Instead you keeping posting here in a frenzy....I think Scumbria noticed it first. Are you worried that AMD may be pulling it off? That AMD has the best technology? That because the Athlon is an AMD chip, made for AMD production processes, there will not be any major production snags? That with all its pressure, intc may not be able to stop completely the production of AMD chipsets and motherboards? That AMD does not need Dell and GTW because CPQ and IBM can use every Athlon that AMD can produce? You know of course that IBM is hell bent on taking back market share from Dell, don't you? It wants some of those Dell revenues.....and if anyone is big enough to do it, it's IBM!! And poor M. Dell, he thought IBM was his friend and partner. That all the news coming out of Dresdan is wunderbar!!! And that AMD will be in copper well before intc with little if any problems? That AMD's stock price is starting to rise 'cause word is getting out and investors are starting to buy and maybe even the analysts who rate AMD a hold are beginning to take small positions....I mean AMD has a big float and to move up it takes a lot of buying.....usually institutional buying? That the media loves the Athlon and clearly is cheering AMD on? I don't know....all of the above may be true and then again, it may not be. But one thing I know for sure.....AMD HAS THE FASTEST CHIP IN ALL THE LAND!!!! And you can count on that! And try to get some sleep...it will take the edge off your posts. ted
