Carmine, as a physician, would you comment on Jim's statement, But you're right, the LT effects of zapping away Bowman's are unknown...but I prefer that to living with the uncertainty about LT effects of a flap which never completely seals except around the periphery. Is there a problem with the healing of the flap? Is there any advantage of PRK over LASIK or vice-versa? If a person can handle the longer healing time for PRK, do you recommend it over LASIK? Bob-- Long VISX and LVCI and considering the procedure.
