Tim - Excellent questions, glad you asked them. I only have a partial answer to the question about the Alberta Exchange. So rather than diddle around, I will repost your questions on the Wi-LAN thread. Nomally, the CEO himself responds to such questions, and to date I have been unable to fault him on the responses, though he usually refrains from commenting adversely on competitors. I'll get back to you.

Tim - The response of the CEO to your questions is on the Wi-LAN thread - Message 11099104 With respect to Proxim, I found this interesting - " They have recently announced plans to develop 5GHz HiperLAN I products by the middle of 2000. Our OFDM technology, already in products, is the foundation of the HiperLAN II and the IEEE802.11a standards. Also, we are looking forward to the potential of developing a higher speed HomeRF standard for multimedia based on our technology." While I realize this is applicable to home networking, this latest release from Phillips is also interesting - www-us.semiconductors.philips.com Jim
