I think I read a few days ago that the plug was being totally pulled on DIVX by Circuit City and whoever else was supporting it. Sorry I can't locate the article or source.

As is typical for me this late at night, I'm having trouble parsing your intent... did I make a reference to a neighbor of mine with a DIVX at some point in the past? If so, it totally escapes me now. I've always thought DIVX was a lame duck technology in comparison to DVD.
