Arik,

Although I am more inclined towards a trading range, I cannot ignore the possibility of a huge selloff or a blow-off TOP Last week did give the appearance of a BLOW-OFF TOP in process (in a few sectors, not market wide) until THUR/FRI. Now I feel more comfortable that some sort of a mid-term top may be in as of last week.

One thing that does bother me the most and which supports the possibility of a strong correction, or even the beginning of a bear market is that fact that the over-all market has not gone anywhere since April/May. Thats already about a 4 month period of range trading and its getting a bit long. We are also in the middle of the 9-month cycle.

It is quite obvious the divergence of the few stocks moving up over the majority of the market which is lagging. The bullish school of thought is that the few hot stocks will lead the way and the laggards will catch up, and the bearish view is the opposite. Well for about 4 months already the laggards are still lagging.
