Xy, at first I thought it was <b<you talking. Then
went to the URL and saw it was a quote.

No idea about his track record. Even if it was excellent,
he could be wrong in this instance.

Speculative stocks continue mostly to be the best performers.

How is AMAT a speculative stock? We are at the early stages of a multi-year upturn, which practically nobody will dispute. Additionally, AMAT is a Gorilla trading at about 23X FY00 estimate of $3.00(BTW, AMAT's FY00 begins only 2 months from now) I am not too sure what this guy is looking at.

Xy, did this guy say AMAT would hit 63 this week or was it 73??? Must be a misprint and he meant 73. Surely, a professional like him couldn't have missed it by this much could he? {ggg} Jeff

"When Applied Materials has done this in the past at a time when the stock had been relatively strong in the preceding week (as defined by being up more than 9% over any two-day period in the preceding week), it has been down seven out of nine times over the following week. I'm looking for a decline to at least $63."
