No, I think you misunderstand me. My point was that, logically, it would be equally valid to say "FBI agent X is a good man who sacrificed his life for others. We should be proud of a federal government who employs such a man", as it is to draw the conclusions you draw about the federal government from the acts of a few FBI or ATF agents several years ago. I wasn't advocating one way or another. I was just trying to understand the logic of villifying the entire federal government for what may turn out to be the acts of a few bad or stupid men.
