DJ Ericsson Recalls Employee From Israel Over Wife's Remarks

JERUSALEM (AP)--The Swedish telephone company Ericsson (ERICY) recalled one of its employees
stationed in Israel after his wife made anti-Semitic remarks praising Hitler, a company official said Sunday.

Bo Anderson, the company's senior official in Israel, told Israel TV that Anne and Matt Anforse were
ordered back to Sweden after Mrs. Anforse reportedly said last Thursday that Jews were thieves and liars
and that "It's too bad Hitler didn't finish the job."

Her remarks were met with a storm of protest in the Jewish state, which hosts the largest population of
survivors of the Nazi Holocaust, and their children.

Six million Jews were killed in German-occupied Europe between 1939-45.

Anforse reportedly made the comments following a dispute with the owner of a riding stable over a
misplaced rein.

"Among Ericsson's corporate values is the word 'respect,"' Anderson said - repeating it in Hebrew, "Kavod"
- "and what happened during this session in the stable is not a show of respect for the Jewish people."

Anderson apologized "to the whole Jewish people" and said the entire family had been sent back to Sweden.
