Len:

As I understand the terminology the Chasm will be crossed when Rambus gets a toehold with one or more targeted markets or customers-- one bowling pin at a time.

Moore has said that the chasm is crossed with "widespread adoption". While a "toehold" makes sense to me, "toeholds" and "widespread adoption" seem incongruent. I am slowly rereading GG, and hope to understand this better. However, I wouldn't be surprised if this point remains a little murky in the book, giving the authors some wiggle room.

The definition of when the chasm is crossed, which would lead one to seriously consider a Gorilla candidate as it makes its way into the Bowling Alley, is important to understand. Other opinions out there, or are we slicing this issue too thinly. King Arthur, what say you?
