No, I haven't found a way to simulate RT in an EOD setting. A few comments on recent posts: Metastock is a good EOD TA package and Y2K ready, I recommend it over others mentioned. My copy of their RT sets on the shelf waiting for any source rather than Signal. For RT, I use mainly Qcharts feeding Advanced GET, I also use DTN sat. feeding ensign, a great package often missed by those that don't do their homework. You need a good EOD data source, I recommend Quotes Plus, it has a powerful scanning capability to filter the stocks down to tradables. Well, I finally saw a Cramer article in a post. I won't look for any more, that was enough. Trading rooms, Chat rooms, email/newsletters: Wherever they are honest good guys doesn't make much difference to me. I believe a trader should remain independent. Do his own selection based on his mindset. Once you give up that independence to others. You are at their mercy. You will make unplanned trades because they said to. Your are in effect saying "I can't select my stocks, their entries/exits on my own. I have to hear/see what they say." Don't short change yourself like that. I bet everyone reading this, knows the right way to trade even if they don't do it, why should you allow others to influence your decisions? I am not against learning from others, but the decision is always yours to make. It is your money! Learning/building a trading plan can be accomplished by taking ideas from others but it should stop there. You don't need to work in a group, you don't have to look up to the "Pros", who for the better part make their living using other people's money.
