Dear Frank: What makes you believe G. wants to pull down the wonderful economic prosperity we have had for a long time now? Seems to me he gets a lot of credit for it, I should think he would want only to continue it. JDN

Frank,
I believe that your tirade against Allan Greenspan can only be answered by praising him. I think that he is expressing his concern about all the IPO internet newbies.

I have no doubt that most of these IPO's are stocks, that will never make investors money. The people that are floating the IPO's, as well as the Underwriters, may well be the biggest con artists of this century Mr. Greenspan hasn't used that term to describe that whole group, but he may be thinking it.

humble carl

Frank: The market is up 50% since Greenspam's "irrational exuberance" comment. AG just adds an uneccessary volatility component because too many people parse evry word this overpaid bureaucrat speaks. INTC,CSCO,MSFT, and the like will prevail. JFD
