Uncle..I love it...an astrophysics professor is going to tell Intel about the right memory architecture it needs to be using in the future!! And this guy is quoted in the "press" as somehow being qualified to render an opinion other people will rely upon. Man, this is FUD at its worst.

By the way, if there are any brain surgeons out there, I have a couple of ideas on some new surgical procedures I want to run by you.

Re: boynton is a professor of astrophysics...

Astrophysics is the Brain Surgery of Physics. Just as there are lots of doctors, but only a few Brain Surgeons, there are lots of physicists, but very few Astrophysicists.

For you to ridicule him for being described as a physicist is kind of like saying that one of the Justices of the Supreme Court isn't a real Judge - oh yes he is!

His qualification... as an astrophysicist, he actually uses computers, stretches them to their utmost capabilities, and he lives and breathes the concepts of unbiased measurement and observation. I could go on, but this is enough - your statement was unfair, insulting to the man, simply absurd.
