It just seems like you are picking on her needlessly. Yeah - lol. Its actually because I have a long history of out thinking these guys. Anyway on guns, I'm not a big gun person myself, but they are kindof like drugs to me, I don't want them around but reasonable regulation and I'm ok with it. I think with guns you really have to go on a state by state basis... those states that have gang violence and carjackings need stricter laws. Other states like Montana that are kind of like the wild wild west, well maybe guns don't need to be regulated there. As far as existing gun laws, I don't know all the details. But I am under the impression that there are a lot of laws on the books regarding crimes with guns, and some laws resticting sales of guns but not that many. Gun shows seem to be totally unregulated and "dealers" are often one guy who sets up shop in his garage. I think thats what they are trying to curtail. One thing that really bothers me is any need for metal detectors in schools, to me that is very disturbing. How do you stop teenagers from getting guns so that they can bring them to school? Well you have to regulate the sale, thats the only way. You can't wait for some kid to shoot somebody and then lock him up.
