So Major Tom is going for the moon via the internet, eh? Well, Bowie has always been cutting edge, right down to going public on the market(something that must have made Mick Jagger, a fellow with an econ. degree I believe, green with envy for not thinking of it first).

BUT, I gotta say I am NOT enthused by Virgins(and Bowies) willingness to stick it to the consumer by maintaining what I feel are artificially high CD type pricing on those downloads. I mean, come on, $17 for a download that probably is costing them peanuts? Oh.....but what am I saying....slap me and call me stooopid....this is, after all, the music industry I'm talking about! ;-) Clearly they want to maintain that golden goose, regardless of the delivery mechanism being employed, eh?

John~

Were you surprised that Bowie and Virgin Records did not pick EPAC or MP3 instead of Windows Media?
