C, This one just blows me away.....not that Schroeder is the other starter, that doesn't surprise me, but that we traded Mayes. I am very surprised by that....very. Well, this does open the door for Don Diver or Driver or whatever his name is! :) Here is some other news.... PACKERS WAIVE FIVE ------------------ In personnel moves today, the Packers waived defensive tackle Howard Burns, linebackers Lamont Hollinquest and Louis Adams, and wide receivers Dee Miller and Zola Davis - with Burns and Miller receiving injury settlements - and placed center Mike Newell on the reserve/non-football injury list with a back problem. Miller had been a sixth-round selection in the Packers' 1999 draft. THREE NEW STARTERS NAMED ------------------------ The Green Bay Packers named three new starters on Monday - Bill Schroeder at wide receiver, Mike Wahle at left guard and rookie Mike McKenzie at left cornerback.
