FWIW, I always am wishing for a level playing field regardless of who is running.

I don't think that BC raised quite as much relative to his opponents. I am not sure, but I think I remember hearing that GWB's fundraising ability is some sort of record. I may be wrong about that, though.

He also skirted the regulations on campaign spending limits and on DNC advertising (i.e., soft money) when accepting matching federal funds. It's the same as collecting welfare and social security while going out and working a job.
