gender roles/sexuality - who cares. Once again, keep out of people's private lives. I don't see how a conservative could argue with that.

You really think "who cares" is a good answer? EVERYONE should care because the homosexuals sure do.

foxnews.com

How is that staying out of private lives when they subject the children with that?

6. ..global temperatures are affected not by cyclical, documented changes in the brilliance of the sun, but by yuppies driving SUV's.

Really? How long have we had the sophisticated equipment needed to measure this? Thousands of years? Last ice age? I'd love to see the data to support this. Remember we are talking geologic history here not last week.

We've had the equipment and the intelligence to use it, both of ever increasing sophistication, for a number of decades. However, the story is told for about the last 600 million years or so, or about from the beginnings of multicellular life on the planet. This area is one of my interests, and I can point you to data showing where our Earth's current temperature is (about average) compared to times gone by. One has to be very selective with the data and statistics to show a "global warming" trend, and then careful to show further that such a trend would in fact be _only_ a bad thing.
