Hello, guys. I've been on vacation for a few weeks, and just back. Anything interesting happen with the Q while I've been gone? <vbg> Actually haven't caught up to today's messages yet but I pretty much can guess what the longtime denizens of the thread must have thought of the Everen report and the market's panicked reaction. I first got to my terminal today about when Q had hit 170...typed faster than I ever have before getting a "sell to open" order in on some Sep 165 puts...they went for 7 1/2 bucks each...what do you think they'll be worth at expiration? <g> Also got into some DIM LEAPS calls with the rest of the IRA's cash balance. This was the dip at least I for one had been waiting for...in a few weeks I think this will look just like that insane ride to 137 at the beginning of August, and I didn't want to find myself saying "could've, would've, should've" again. OT, I used my dual-band Thinphone last week in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness (deep in the Washington Cascade range, elevation averages about 6000'). I was on a small lake surrounded by very, very large mountains and got a usable (one-bar, analog) signal from inside my tent. In a snowstorm. (We don't believe in quaint concepts like 'summer weather' in this state.) Pretty funny to be talking to my daughter in (very sunny) San Diego with it at the time! (After climbing over 4200' the day before I was very glad it weighed down my pack only by a mere 4 ounces!) Enough - I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow - can you say +5 and change?
