But what did Mezz intend the characters to be? The new site still appears to be rendering accented characters incorrectly; for example, see #reply-10807089 That message has the correct accented characters on the old site; on the new site, e-acute is displayed as U-acute, and e-circumflex becomes U-circumflex. (This on a system using the ISO-8859-1 character set. Do these characters display correctly on other systems?). This affects usernames too: Gaston Billetes still has the accented 'o' in his name rendered as '3/4'.
