re: multiple monitors: arthur, i was told the same. i m still told from dell that all i need to buy is an extra card for $148 (16mb video card) and i will all set. i just dont belive it.

i was told my notebook would work w. dual monitor last year.
now they tell me there is no way it could work.

this is why it's important to do proper research even when spending the mony.

i wil decide by this weekend.

Not true - NT has much better and more reliable multi-monitor support, and has had it for more than 3 years. Also a wider range of cards is supported on NT. It really depends on which OS you are more comfortable with, but don't get confused - NT monitor support is better.
