rudedog:<a wider range of cards is supported by nt> thanks...my info about win 98 came from when win 98 first came out, which was obviously a "long" time ago...thanks for seeing my post, and correcting it...i should ask you, is win 2000 a halfbreed, or "pure" nt? In other words, at my level of exposure to products, how do i make sure i am installing a "high" enough level of nt...my hardware is only a few months old, so i should be able to use a more solid operating system...and finally, should a person switch now, rather than wait six months (i assume "they" are always throwing in more and more patches, the more you wait to buy nt)...(you can see how confusing it is, for me to really NOT HAVE either the information, nor the time to really evaluate these things...so thanks.)
