jlallen, I realize that your response was not directed to me. And I am only stating my own opinion, so please don't take offense.

My view on the divorce front is that it should be harder to get married in the first place, so these later situations with children involved would be less common.

Okay, you conservative types have now got me really confused(not that it is a very difficult task, mind you):-)

You guys think that government has too much control in our daily lives, and don't want government involved in things like guns because you have theoretically have a natural right ot own guns, but you want government involved in your even more basic fundamental freedom to get married or to choose to end that marriage????

Am I missing something? (no one word sarcastic answers please)
